Terms of Service

By using All About Movies (AllAboutMovies.xyz), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What this service is

All About Movies is a free discovery and search layer for movies, TV shows, and anime. We help you browse titles, read descriptions, see ratings and artwork, and find where something may be watchable. We do not own the content you see on the site. We do not host, license, distribute, or sell video, movies, TV shows, anime, or any of the media referenced through the service. Everything you watch comes from external sources, not from us.

Content and metadata

Movie, TV, and anime metadata — including titles, descriptions, ratings, genres, images, and similar information — is supplied by The Movie Database (TMDB), a community-built movie database. We request that data on your behalf so the site can display it. TMDB content is used under its own terms, and we do not claim ownership of it.

Third-party streaming providers

Links and embedded players on the site may point to or load independent third-party streaming services. Those providers are not us. They operate their own services, their own content libraries, their own terms of use, their own privacy practices, and their own regional restrictions.

We do not control, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party provider, its content, its availability, its legality in your location, or its data practices. When you play something, you interact with that provider directly. Review each provider's terms before using an external service, and use the site only to access content you are entitled to watch.

No ownership of content

Nothing on this site should be taken to mean that All About Movies owns, created, licensed, or distributed any movie, show, anime, image, description, or other media. We are a discovery service only. All rights in that content belong to their respective owners, providers, and licensors.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, overload APIs, submit malicious content, or use automated requests that interfere with normal operation. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users and the service.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Account data is processed by Supabase for sign-in and preference syncing.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as a discovery tool, without warranties of any kind. Availability, accuracy, and regional access of titles and streaming links can change at any time because they depend on external providers. We do not guarantee that any title will be available, that any link will work, or that any external service will remain accessible.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
